About the Bride
I received my BSN from Valparaiso University in May 2009. I am a registered nurse and work for St. Margaret Mercy on the Rehab floor. I enjoy singing with the Life Teen Band "Orison" every Sunday evening at St. Paul's Church. Some other things that I enjoy are camping, fishing, reading, shopping, and traveling. I am so very excited to be marrying the man that I love.
About the Groom
Ryan graduated from Purdue University in May 2008 with a Major in Psychology and a minor in History. He hopes to return to school to become a guidance counselor for high school students. Ryan plays the spoons in the Jug Band, and also loves to sing throughout most of the day. Ryan enjoys watching movies, playing video games, playing and watching sports, and just spending time with friends and family. Although Ryan is very excited about his future as my husband, he's slightly clueless about wedding planning!
About the couple
We are high school sweethearts. We started hanging out in Junior year of high school, and he asked me to be his date for the Homecoming dance. We had a great time together, and the following Monday (December 23, 2002) after going with friends to the movies, he asked me if I would like to continue hanging out as a "boyfriend/girlfriend type of thing." I of course was very excited and said yes. It didn't take long before we realized it would be their first and only true love. We made it through four years of long distance while Ryan was away at college. After that and many other experiences,some good, some bad, we knew that we are meant to be together forever.
